The 80/20 Rule to Content Marketing Success
Building a content marketing strategy is a lot like building a house.
You need a good foundation and infrastructure and a nice facade, Visme’s Farzad Rashidi
You need a clear understanding of the keywords that will attract readers and discover the right channels to publish content.
But Farzad says that creating content should only account for 20% of your time.
80% should be dedicated to promotion and distribution, and, as important, updating and refreshing existing content.
And here’s something interesting. Farzad says a content audit should happen every six months and that badly performing content should be archived or deleted.
